Linebacker nicknamed "The Lumberjack", known for speed and hitting ability. He made his NFL debut in 2008 for the Denver Broncos and signed with the Tennessee Titans in 2014.
He played football at LaGrange High School in Georgia. He won two state championships and was all-state his senior year.
He won the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award in 2013.
He was born to Edna Sutton and Wesley Woodyard Sr.
He made his first NFL appearance filling in for an injured DJ Williams.
