He carried the Irish flag at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea.
He changed his name to Wayne Pocket Rocket McCullough via deed pole in May 2004.
He married Cheryl McCullough in 1996.
He and Texas fighter Alberto Davila are both former WBC Bantamweight Champions.
