Wayne Huizenga

American businessman and entrepreneur who has founded three Fortune 500 corporations, including Blockbuster Video. He was awarded the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans in 1992 for his scholarships.
He studied at Calvin College, a liberal arts college in Grand Rapids, Michigan before enlisting in the Army reserve in 1959.
In 1996, less than ten years after founding Blockbuster, he formed AutoNation, which became the nation's largest automotive dealer.
He is of Dutch descent and he married his second wife, Marti Goldsby, in April 1972.
In 2001 he sold the Florida Panthers, an NHL Hockey team, to pharmaceutical juggernaut Alan Cohen.
