American football running back who committed to play with the Clemson Tigers in 2013. After redshirting his freshman year and seeing limited action the next season, he broke out as the Tigers' featured back in 2015. He then helped the team win the NCAA National Championship in 2016-17.
He played his high school football at Grayson High School, where he was ultimately rated as a three-star prospect.
During the 2015-16, he rushed for 1,527 yards and 13 touchdowns on 283 carries in helping the Tigers reach the College Football Playoff final.
His father, Wayne, Sr., was a Battalion Sergeant Major in the United States Marine Core.
He and quarterback Deshaun Watson formed a dominant rushing duo at Clemson.
