Wayne Escoffery
Saxophonist
Jazz musician who has worked with the Charles Mingus band and with his own eponymous quartet and quintet.
He attended Jazzmobile in New York City, the Neighborhood Music School in New Haven, and the ACES Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven.
He was awarded a scholarship to attend the Hartt School.
He married Carolyn Leonhart in 2004 and they had a child together.
He performed on tour with pianist and bandleader Herbie Hancock.
