Ward Hunt

Served as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1873 to 1882.
He studied law at Litchfield Law School in Connecticut.
He presided over The United States v. Susan B. Anthony, where he ordered the jury to find Anthony guilty of breaking the law for voting in the 1872 election.
He was the son of Montgomery Hunt.
He was nominated to the Supreme Court by President Ulysses S. Grant.
