Walter Ostanek

Accordionist who earned the nickname Canada's Polka King. He won Grammy Awards for Best Polka Album in 1992, 1993 and 1994.
He started playing accordion at age five.
He was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2001.
He was born in Duparquet, Quebec but his family moved to St. Catherine's in Ontario.
Ostanek and Weird Al Yankovic are both known for their exceptional accordion playing.
