R&B and pop vocalist who was a finalist in the fourth season of American Idol. Her debut EP, "True Story," was released on iTunes in early 2012.
She released a demo recording titled My Struggle and performed with several local Florida bands. She financed her musical endeavors by working for the United States Postal Service.
She made it to American Idol's Top 3 contestants, ultimately finishing behind Bo Bice and Carrie Underwood.
She was born in Georgia and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. She grew up with two brothers and one sister and spent her high school years at the Cypress Lake Center for the Arts.
American Idol judge Randy Jackson was highly complimentary of Solomon's rendition of the Diana Ross hit "When You Tell Me That You Love Me."
