He studied at the University of Miami on a tennis scholarship before earning his law degree at UCLA.
In 2011, he wrote Divinity of Doubt: The God Question.
He had two children named Wendy and Vince Jr. with his wife, Gall.
He published Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 2007.
