Victor Yushchenko
World Leader
Politician who served as Ukrainian President from 2005-2010. Previously, he had held office as Prime Minister of Ukraine.
After graduating from the Ternopil National Economic University, he served as Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine from 1993-1999.
He began his career as a member of the Communist Party, but later shifted his political allegiance to the Our Ukraine Party.
His two marriages -- to Svetlana Kolesnyk (divorced) and Kateryna Chumachenko -- produced five children.
He and Yuriy Boyko both served as Ukrainian political leaders.
