Journalist who is best known for her work at RCN News, which she joined in 1998. In 2017 she began hosting the mid-day show at W Radio.
She has a degree in social communication and journalism from Autonomous University of Occident.
In 2013 she was given the Simón Bolívar Award for Best Radio Interview.
Her parents are Lusaida Hoyos and Gustavo Dávila. She was married to Juan Carlos Ruiz from 2000 until his death in 2001. Together they had a son, Simón Ruiz Dávila, born in 2001. She married José Amiro Gnecco Martínez in 2008, and with him had another son, Salomón.
She has interviewed celebrities such as Manuel Medrano and J Balvin.
