Vanessa Fernandes
Triathlete
Triathlete who won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
She was an Under-23 World Champion.
She won back to back gold medals in the overall world cup at the ITU World Cup in 2006 and 2007.
She was born in Perosinho, Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
At the 2008 Olympics she finished ahead of many great triathletes, including bronze-medalist Emma Moffatt.
