The younger sister of politician Joe Biden, she led each of her older brother's seven Senate campaigns in which he won. She has an extremely close relationship with Joe and has been instruments in his personal and political life.
She graduated from the University of Delaware.
Her brother Joe wished her a happy birthday on Facebook in 2019, calling her his best friend. She has worked for a media consulting firm called Joe Slade White and Company.
She married John Owens and the couple had three children together named Cuffe, Valerie and Katherine.
Her brother Joe served as vice president beside the 44th President of the U.S. Barack Obama.
