Storied makeup artist who's worked predominantly in fashion. Her work's been featured on the cover of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Allure. She's also served as L'Oreal Paris Global Makeup Director as well as a contributing beauty editor for British Vogue.
She became a makeup artist after burning out on hairstyling. She was living in Australia at the time and decided to sell her salon and move to London.
She wound up helping Lady Gaga create the look for the cover of the singer's Born This Way album.
She married her husband Terry, but the two got divorced when Garland moved to London.
Naomi Watts was a stylist's assistant and encountered Garland in Australia. Watts was just about to move to L.A. to become an actor and 15 years later Garland did the newly their Watts' makeup for a press junket in London.
