Usman Garuba

Center who has gained fame for his career in Spain's Liga ACB for Real Madrid. He led the team to the Liga ACB title in 2019.
He joined Escuela Municipal de Baloncesto de Azuqueca at age 9. He later moved to Real Madrid's youth academy in 2013.
He was named to the ACB All-Young Players Team in 2020. He helped lead the Spain U-18 squad to the FIBA U-18 European Championship in 2019.
He is of Nigerian descent. He has two younger siblings named Sediq and Uki.
Upon making his pro debut for Real Madrid at 16 years old, he became the then-third youngest player ever to debut for the pro club, just behind Luka Doncic.
