Umberto Boccioni
Painter
Italian painter and sculptor who helped form the Futurism movement. He is best known for works like 1909's The Morning and 1910's Three Women.
He studied at the Scuola Libera del Nudo of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma.
The Museum of Modern Art in New York organized a retrospective in 1988 featuring more than 100 pieces of his art.
He had an older sister named Amelia.
His acclaimed painting The City Rises was sold to famed composer Ferruccio Busoni in 1910.
