Saudi Arabian royalty known for serving as the Director General of Saudi Arabia's intelligence agency from 1977 to 2001. He is the co-founder of one of the most notable philanthropic organizations in the world, the King Faisal Foundation.
He graduated from Lawrenceville School in Princeton, New Jersey in 1963.
He resigned as director of Saudi Arabia's intelligence agency just ten days before the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
He married and had seven children with Nouf bint Fahd bin Khalid Al Saud.
He and King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud are both members of the Saudi Arabian royal family.
