Trixie Whitley

Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for being a member of the collaborative group Black Dub. She's the daughter of musician Chris Whitley, with whom she's also performed.
She grew up performing in theater and dance companies and became a DJ in Belgium as a teenager.
She first collaborated with her dad on his 1997 album Terra Icognita and continued to collaborate with him until his death in 2005. She recorded her first solo EP in 2008.
Her mother is named Hélène Gevaert. She grew up in Belgium and New York City.
She joined Daniel Lanois, Brian Blade, and Daryl Johnson in Black Dub.
