Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Cleveland Indians during the second round of the 2015 MLB draft. He set a Cleveland franchise record for most consecutive strikeouts after striking out eight consecutive Chicago White Sox hitters in a row on May 31, 2021.
He began his professional career playing for Cleveland's rookie affiliate team the AZL Indians.
He made his major league debut pitching against the Detroit Tigers on August 22, 2020. He struck out ten batters, which is the second most by a Cleveland pitcher in their first major league start.
His younger brother T.J. was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals during the 39th round of the 2019 MLB draft.
He played alongside Wilson Ramos as a member of Cleveland's team in 2021.
