Shortstop who made his MLB debut with the Colorado Rockies on Opening Day 2016, hitting two home runs off perennial All-Star Zack Greinke.
He was a supplemental first round pick of the Rockies in 2011 and the 45th player taken overall.
Although the sixth player in MLB history to debut with two home runs, he was the first to accomplish the feat on Opening Day. He also became the first player in major league history to homer in each of his first three games.
He grew up in Irving, Texas and was drafted directly out of Irving High School.
He and JP Arencibia, who debuted in 2010, both hit two home runs in their first career MLB games.
