Tosin Abasi

Born Oluwatosin Ayoyinka Olumide Abasi, he co-founded the instrumental metal band Animals as Leaders.
He attended the Atlanta Institute of Music and signed with Prosthetic Records.
He joined the band Reflux in the early to mid-2000s and then was offered a record deal.
He was born and raised in Washington, D.C. to Nigerian immigrants. His brother Abdul, is a fashion designer and has served as one of his influences.
He has practiced Transcendental Meditation, which at one time was endorsed by John Lennon.
