Multi-instrumentalist and singer known for being the lead vocalist of the band Stars. He's also performed with the bands Memphis and Broken Social Scene.
He grew up acting, appearing in his first movie in 1982 and had a recurring voice role as Bill Badger on Rupert from 1991-1997.
He often appeared on Q, a CBC radio program, and used his presence in the public eye to heavily criticize Stephen Harper during his time as prime minister.
He was born to Douglas Campbell, who was also an actor, and Moira Wylie in England, but soon after moved to Canada. He has a daughter with his wife Moya.
He and Amy Millan have been bandmates in Stars.
