Tony McPhee

British blues rock musician who founded the 1960s group The Groundhogs, which backed Champion Jack Dupree.
Before the guitar, he was more into skiffle music.
McPhee and his band produced three top ten hits in the UK in the 1970s.
He grew up around Humberston in Lincolnshire, England.
In the mid-1960s John Lee Hooker toured with McPhee and the rest of The Groundhogs.
