Professional utility man that was drafted by the Houston Astros during the fifth round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He was a member of the Astros' 2017 team that won the World Series. He was acquired by the Oakland Athletics via trade on January 13, 2020.
He began his professional career playing for the Astros' Double-AA affiliate team the Corpus Christi Hooks.
He made his major league debut playing against the Chicago White Sox on May 17, 2016.
He lives with his wife, Michelle.
He played alongside José Altuve and Alex Bregman as a member of the Astros during the 2017 MLB season.
