Tony Evers

Democratic politician who rose to fame as the 46th governor of Wisconsin, an office he assumed in January 2019. He previously served as the Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction between 2009 and 2019.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with bachelor's and master's degrees in 1974 ad 1978, respectively. He later gained a his PhD from the school in 1986.
He oversaw the Wisconsin response to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the shooting of Jacob Blake in 2020.
He and his wife Kathy have three children and seven grandchildren.
He defeated Scott Walker in the 2018 general election to become Wisconsin's 46th governor.
