He discovered his love of performing at New Mexico State University, where he was a part of a production of Of Mice and Men and earned an award for his performance.
His first on-screen role was as Tony in the 2009 drama Political Disasters, starring Tim DeKay.
His full name is Anthony C. Baker; he moved to the south side of Chicago at a young age. His brother Keenan Baker is also a comedian. He had two sons named Cencere and Cerain with his ex-wife. In August 2021, Cerain was tragically killed in a car crash.
In 2012 he was featured on Comedy Central's Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution.
