Tom C. Clark
Supreme Court Justice
Served as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1949 to 1967.
He received a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1922.
He wrote the majority opinion in the landmark case Abington School District v. Schempp, which declared Bible readings in public schools unconstitutional.
He was the son of Virginia Maxey and William Henry Clark.
He was nominated to the Supreme Court by President Harry Truman.
