One of his first roles was in 1997 on the TV show Love and Peace.
He starred in films such as Hastage musicalsnamizuki and Seaside Hotel, and has appeared onstage in various adaptations of classic plays, such as West Side Story and The Two Gentleman of Verona.
He was born in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, Japan.
In 2008, he played the role of Danny in the Japanese stage version of the musical Grease, a role made their by John Travolta.
