Most their for his decade-long portrayal of Dr. Harry Cunningham on the popular BBC crime series Silent Witness, Ward is also known for his guest spots on episodes of Warriors; Midsomer Murders; Death in Paradise; and numerous other series.

Before Fame

While studying economics, philosophy, and political science at Lincoln College, Oxford University, he was active in student theatrical productions.

Trivia

He acted in a 2012 Doctor Who holiday special titled "The Snowmen."

Family Life

He and his brother Tristan grew up in Swansea, Wales as the sons of Sarah Ward and poet, scholar, and professor John Powell Ward. Tom Ward married Emily Hohler in 2001; over the course of the next five years, they welcomed children named Jack, Tabitha, and Jimmy.
