Tom Renney
Hockey Coach
Former hockey coach who spent eight years as a coach in the NHL with teams like the Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers. He later became the President and CEO of Hockey Canada.
He began his coaching career with the Kamloops Blazers in the Western Hockey League in 1990.
He led the Canadian national team to a silver medal at the 1994 Winter Olympics.
He married Glenda Gare, whose brother is retired NHL player Danny Gare.
He was succeeded as head coach of the Edmonton Oilers by Ralph Krueger in 2012.
