American fashion designer known for his L-7 Designs brand. He also created a fragrance line, a La-Z-Boy furniture collection, and a line of clothing distributed by Target.
He studied at the Otis College in Los Angeles prior to moving to New York to start his career.
He designed a fashion line to accompany the 1995 release of the popular Batman Forever film.
He grew up with two sisters and one brother.
He and fellow designer Derek Lam were both recipients of the Perry Ellis Award for New Talent.
