Indonesian politician who is known for having served as the 23rd Chief of National Police of Indonesia. He is also known for having previously served as Chief of National Agency for Combating Terrorism.
He attended Akpol or the Indonesian National Police Academy where hr graduated from in 1987. After completing his military service, he started his career as Chief of National Agency for Combating Terrorism in March of 2016.

He was born and raised in Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia and married Tri Suswati. Together they have three children.
