Right-handed fast medium bowler for Kerala from 1999 to 2008 who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2009 edition of the Indian Premier League.
He was selected in 2000 for the first intake of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
He became the first Kerala Ranji player to play Test and ODI cricket for India.
His father is Olympic long jumper T. C. Yohannan.
He and Ab Devilliers both played domestic cricket for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
