Tim Wellens
Cyclist
Belgian professional cyclist known for winning the 2014 and 2015 Eneco Tour. He was also named to the start list for the 2015 Tour de France and has raced for Lotto-Belisol.
He started his amateur career with Avia Cycling Team in 2009 before moving on to Davo Lotto Davitamon. He went pro in 2012.
He won stage six of the 2016 Giro D'Italia. He's also competed in mountain biking.
He grew up in Sint-Truiden, Belgium.
He and Edvald Boasson Hagen have both won the Eneco Tour.
