Collegiate athletic coach who began coaching the University of Florida's Women's Softball Team in 2006.
He played baseball for both Cerritos College (California) and for the University of Oklahoma before playing in the minor leagues for the Philadelphia Phillies.
His University of Florida Gators team won the Southeastern Conference Championship in 2008 and 2009 and played for five consecutive years in the Women's College World Series.
His wife, Samantha Rhoten, played collegiate basketball at Oral Roberts University.
He and Will Muschamp both coached athletic teams at the University of Florida (Muschamp became head football coach in 2011).
