Member of Smile with Brian May and Roger Taylor, which eventually became Queen after his departure and Freddy Mercury and John Deacon's arrivals. He went on to become a model maker, designer, animator, and commercials director.

Before Fame

He performed with the Railroaders while a student at Hampton Grammar School in the 1960s; he also co-founded the blues-rock band, 1984, which was a support act for Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd. They broke up in 1968.

Trivia

He co-wrote "Doing All Right" with May, which became a track on Queen's debut album from 1973.
