Tim Sparks
Guitarist
American acoustic guitar virtuoso who has worked with artists like Dolly Parton and Bill Frisell. He taught at University of Minnesota Morris.
He taught himself to play guitar because he was too sick from encephalitis to go to school for a year.
His first album was released in 1993 and was called The Nutcracker Sweet.
His grandmother, who played piano in church, was an early musical influence on Sparks.
He has often collaborated with composer John Zorn.
