Tim Burgess
Rock Singer
British singer and songwriter who served as lead vocalist for The Charlatans, an alternative rock group that produced eleven United Kingdom Top Forty albums between 1990 and 2010.
Before joining The Charlatans, he was the lead singer for a psychedelic group called The Electric Crayons.
He released his first solo album, I Believe, in 2003.
He grew up in Cheshire, England. He toured the world as a musician and disc jockey and lived for a time in Los Angeles.
In 2004, he and drummer Andy Burrows (formerly of the group Razorlight), along with Martin Duffy and Carl Barat, formed a rock group called The Chavs.
