Thomas Vinterberg

Co-founded the Dogme 95 filmmaking movement and directed the films It's All About Love and Dear Wendy.
His 1993 film Last Round won the jury and producers' awards at the Munich International Festival of Film Schools.
His Dogme 95 movement had very specific "golden rules," including always using hand-held cameras, always shooting on location, and never creating a genre film.
He had two children with his ex-wife, director Maria Walbom.
He and Dancer in the Dark director Lars Von Trier co-founded Dogme 95.
