Prolific indie rock musician best known as the frontman of the band Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. He has also been a member of bands like Citizens Arrest and The Spinanes.
He grew up playing in punk rock bands in New York.
He has often contributed to the acclaimed radio show The Best Show on WFMU.
His brothers, Chris and Danny, are also musicians.
He and singer-songwriter Aimee Mann formed the duo The Both in 2013.
