Tanhum Cohen-Mintz

6'8" Israeli center who played for Maccabi Tel Aviv from 1956 to 1972. He was named Israel's Sportsman of the Year in 1961.
He was born in Latvia and later moved to Israel.
He was a longtime captain of the Israel national basketball team, playing 89 games for them.
His son Uri Cohen-Mintz also became a professional basketball player.
He and fellow Israeli Omri Casspi both played for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
