First became known for playing Rachel Black in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. She would go on to play Dr. Shannon Rivera in The Night Shift and the legendary Lemhi Shoshone guide Sacagawea in the mini-series Lewis and Clark.
She graduated from the Vancouver Film School in 2010. She'd previously earned a certificate from a social work program.
Some of her other recurring television roles included Jessica Finch in 2012's True Justice and Caitlin Janvier in Arctic Air.
She is of First Nations and Himalayan descent. After she was adopted, she was raised in an Italian family.
As a recurring character in The Night Shift, she starred opposite Eoin Macken and Jill Flint.
