Orthodox Jewish player for the University of Maryland and Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel, dubbed the Jewish Jordan by Sports Illustrated.
He averaged 35.4 points per game as a junior in high school, garnering him national attention.
He was much-hyped coming out of Maryland, but chronic injuries kept him from living up to his potential as a player.
He married Judy Goodman in 2003.
He and guard Steve Blake both played college basketball at the University of Maryland.
