Known for his comedic roles in films such as Ski Patrol and Seems Like Old Times, this screen actor and comedian also appeared in such NBC and Disney Channel children's series as, respectively, Punky Brewster and Good Morning, Miss Bliss.
He first appeared on screen in the 1970s, in an episode of the NBC series Police Woman. Early in his career, he also acted in the 1978 MGM film Corvette Summer.
In the 1981 thriller Southern Comfort, he played the role of Cribbs.
He was born in New York, New York, and raised in Los Angeles, California.
He and actress Khandi Alexander co-starred in a 2000 HBO miniseries called The Corner.
