Indian actress who has received critical acclaim for her performances in movies like 2011's Tanu Weds Manu and 2016's Nil Battey Sannata. She has starred in some of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time, including 2013's Raanjhanaa and 2015's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
She grew up in Delhi and studied English Literature at Delhi University's Miranda House.
She won a Screen Award and a Zee Cine Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performances in Raanjhanaa.
Her father is Naval officer Chitrapu Uday Bhaskar.
She acted alongside Salman Khan in the romantic drama Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
