He worked as a culinary arts apprentice at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong.
He appeared on an episode of the reality cooking competition Top Chef: Masters.
He and his five siblings grew up in Hong Kong. He has three sons named Levi, Kai and Jet.
He competed against Bobby Flay on Top Chef: Masters.
