Indian screen actor who starred as Ishaan Bhatt in the acclaimed 2013 film Kai Po Che! and also starred in the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. In 2011, he won a Lions Gold Award for Favorite Popular Television Actor for his role in Pavitra Rishta.
He was discovered by a television casting director who attended one of his theatrical performances, and he quickly landed a role on the popular Indian soap opera, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.
He appeared in two seasons of the reality dance competition Zara Nachke Dikha.
He became engaged to his Pavitra Rishta castmate, Ankita Lokhande, in 2011. The couple later split.
He studied dance in Delhi with renowned choreographer Shiamak Davar.
