Indian pop singer who first gained popularity with the single "Paree Hoon Main" in 1991. She went on to release several Platinum-selling albums including Ab Ke Baras and has given television performances on popular shows like Dhoom Macha De.
She graduated from St. Xavier's College in Mumbai.
She acted in the Off-Broadway play Sidd in New York in 2005.
She married cinematographer Jason West.
She worked with composer A.R. Rahman on the song "Adi Paru Mangatha" from the 1994 film May Madham.
