Stewie Dempster

Over the course of his career, this New Zealand-born cricketer played for his country's national cricket team, as well as for the Wellington Firebirds; the Leicestershire and Warwickshire County Cricket Clubs (in England); and the Scotland national cricket team.
He made his debut for Wellington in a 1921 match against Canterbury.
He had a right-handed batting style and a right-armed, slow bowling style.
Born Charles Stewart Dempster, he was raised in Wellington, New Zealand.
At the time of his death, Dempster had a career test cricket batting average that was second only to that of champion Australian cricketer Donald Bradman.
