Rocketed to fame in 2008 after she was crowned Miss Teen USA. She earned her spot in the competition after becoming Miss Arkansas Teen that same year.
She won Miss Arkansas Teen the first time she ever competed in the competition.
In 2012, she appeared in an episode of Hell's Kitchen as a student chef.
Her sister, Rachel Howells, was also a pageant queen, winning the title of Miss Arkansas USA in 2008.
She was succeeded in the line of Miss Teen USA by Stormi Henley in 2009.
